Jane Doe is the name currently used by Agent #Haha Nope, as her legal name, along with much of her identity, remains unknown, including to herself. Although observation of appearance and linguistic fluidity points to her being of Slavic birth, what her country of origin was and how or when she managed to arrive in the United States of America remains unknown, as she retains little memory of her life prior to the age of 13.At 13, Doe recalls being part of 'The Aviary,' a criminal organization that remains illusive to this day, under the code name 'Hummingbird', alongside several peers of similar age and denomination. The focus of this organization was (and presumably remains) the conduct of larceny, particularly of jewel and art theft, though why they chose to employ- and by that measure, where they managed to obtain- adolescents is still remains a baffling and disturbing mystery. One is left to wonder if this organization may have had a hand in the loss of memory and identity experienced by Doe, as she seems to only remember aspects of working for the Aviary when pressed about her childhood, and she seems reluctant to get into the details of her employment there.Regardless of speculation, Doe proved to be a skilled member of this organization, having a hand in several high-profile crimes prior to her capture. She seems to have primarily worked alongside another youth, a yet unknown male identified only as 'Kingfisher' by Doe- someone she hesitates to describe, but appears to harbour extremely negative feelings towards- until early adulthood (approx. 22 years of age), when she was apprehended by police during an attempted burglary. She had fallen- or was perhaps pushed- off a roof, right into the waiting arms of law enforcement, and given injuries sustained in the incident she was arrested without resistance. After her trial found her guilty of XX counts of grand larceny, the SUPER SECRET AGENCY approached her, offering to suspend her sentence in return for her cooperation and assistance on SECRET AGENT STUFF, as they had been impressed by her abilities. She accepted without hesitation. She has since proven a capable, versatile and dependable asset for SUPER SECRET AGENCY , having worked under innumerable aliases for the last eight years while under the agency's employment. She has proven to be resilient in the face of adversity and has been shown to keep a cool head both in pain and under pressure. Her shortcomings have also had their time to show, particularly her habitual acts of petty theft and incapacity to take even the most dire of straights seriously, but SUPER SECRET AGENCY has found these issues to be ultimately insignificant. Her current guise is that of New York citizen Maximillian Mustermann, an unremarkable man tasked with an unremarkable job- Gather information regarding the tragedy that struck small-time conspiracy convention Freak Fest (1993). She does not know the relevance, nor exactly why her employers show interest in this tumbledown little funfair, but a paycheck's a paycheck- really, what could happen?
